GAC has a new TV series coming in May and Phil Vassar is the first subject! The series, called Origins, will feature feature Phil performing and visiting different places where he got his start. This reminds me of several MTV specials that had a similar "going back to the beginning" theme.

GAC has the full story and premiere date in their news section. I'm kinda excited to see this. I hate what MTV and CMT have turned into, programming wise, but I love ideas like this one. It's a way to break up the monotony of nothing but videos while still keeping it about the music. Something the other networks need to re-learn. I'll be watching, that's for sure. Will you?
