Hello, again. It’s Chart Watch day, so you know what that means: It’s time to find out where your favorite Country Music CDs and songs rank on the Billboard chart. First, let’s talk CDs.
10) Van Zant, My Kind Of Country. This disc debuts on the charts this week at #10, and it’s not the first debut today.
9) Sugarland, Enjoy The Ride. The 2nd disc from the Country Music duo drops one spot this week.
8) Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift. The teenager’s debut CD falls one spot this week, but still maintains it’s top 10 dominance.
7) Faith Hill, The Hits. Her first Hits compilation drops 4 spots this week.
6) Brooks and Dunn, Cowboy Town. The duo’s latest effort fell two spots this week thanks to a couple of debuts.
5) Kenny Chesney, Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates. The singer’s latest effort in the only one in the top ten to maintain its position from last week.
4) Sara Evans, Greatest Hits. This is the second new release (and second hits compilation) to hit the top 10 this week. Check out the first single "As If."
3) Reba McEntire, Duets. Reba manages to stay near the top, even though she dropped one spot, thanks to some help from her friends. Ronnie Dunn of Brooks and Dunn, Trisha Yearwood, Kenny Chesney and more joined the singer on this release.
2) LeAnn Rimes, Family. The former teen sensation’s latest effort is the third new release to debut in the top ten this week.
1) Rascal Flatts, Still Feels Good. Yet again, the trio finds themselves at the top of the Country Music CDs chart with their latest release.
There you have it, your top ten for the week. I’ll be posting the singles chart as well as a my thoughts on "The Hitmen Of Music Row" and some Carrie Underwood news a little later. Stay tuned!!
